- Housing Advocacy, Emergency Food & Cothing
The GOALS of EGC:
- To provide emergency, temporary, clean safe, and sober housing for homeless single women and women with children.
- To provide intensive case management
- Assisting, facilitating, and empowering program participants in their efforts to establish stability, to become self-sufficient
- To provide information and referral resources for phone caller inquiries
- To provide support groups
- To have 90% of program participants successfully complete the program and obtain stable, safe, permanent housing
- To initiate community outreach and neighborhood relations efforts to broaden support, resources, and progress toward neighborhood development and improvement
- To provide individual employment assessment and career goals and personal plans and priorities with specific action steps related to gaining an increasing self sufficiency
- To provide assistance to program participants in need of additional education and or job readiness training to provide them increased marketability and enhanced opportunities in todays' highly competitive job market
